Customise your email shots or loose customers
Mother’s day has come and gone along with the usual bombardment of emails suggesting the multitude of things one could buy one’s mother. Every year this is just a reminder to those of us who don’t have a mother who is alive. I have yet to come across a web site that offers any options to exclude certain types of emails to you. Perhaps there is an opportunity for an enterprising email marketing company to offer such a service so a user could still receive the bulk of emails from a company but be excluded from certain anniversary orientated ones?
Currently the only option is to unsubscribe from all emails from that company, a result that doesn’t help either party.
