Multiple personality tester

When Written: April 2009

The next stage in testing your web design is the testing it in different browsers One of  the  problems here is of Microsoft’s doing in that you can’t have previous versions of their browser installed on the same machine. To get round this problem and also announced at Mix09,  SuperPreview allows you to display the same page in IE8 , 7 or 6 side by side which should make spotting those troublesome styles much easier. Super Preview is still in beta but is downloadable from http://blogs.msdn.com/xweb/archive/2009/03/18/Microsoft-Expression-Web-SuperPreview-for-Windows-Internet-Explorer.aspx  I believe there are plans to support other browsers within SuperPreview and I’m sure we will see this integrated to Expressions web designer so that we can have accurate preview in our web design tool at last.

Now you can test a web site in IE8 and IE6 on the same machine with more to follow
