Imagine you are looking at one of those long web pages that seems to go on forever and you find the interesting bit that you want to share. Rather than sending the page URL in an email which a description to ‘ scroll down until you find the bit that says ‘xyz etc” try this: In Chrome (latest version ) highlight the text that you want to share then right mouse click and select “Copy link to highlight” then create an email to whoever you want to share this to and pasting this to the email body, a long URL will come up.
When the recipient of the email clicks on this link they will load the web page which will then scoll down to your highlighted section and display it with the highlight.
This I find very useful pointing people to the gem of information within web pages full of adverts and other pre able.
